Fics completed this year:  25

Looking back, did you write more fic than you thought you would this year, less, or about what you'd predicted?
About what I thought.

What pairing/genre/fandom did you write that you would never have predicted in January 2010?
The Closer and Brenda/Sharon

What's your favourite story of the year? Not the most popular, but the one that makes you happiest?
Solace - cause it's Helen Magnus/Mary Poppins and this amuses me.

Did you take any writing risks this year? (See above for unexpected pairings, etc.) What did you learn from them?
Starting to write for a new fandom is always a risk I suppose. And writing M/M slash is always risky cause I'm not very good at it and I don't really like it much.

Do you have any fanfic or profic goals for the New Year?
More fanfic, that's all.

My Best Story of the Year
Solace probably.

Story Most Under appreciated by the Universe in My Opinion
Musical Discovery (Sanctuary - Helen/Kate) I suppose.

Most Fun Story
First Edition (Sanctuary - Helen/Tesla)

Most Sexy Story
Points And Positioning (The Closer- Brenda/Fritz/Sharon)

"Holy crap, that's wrong, even for you" story
There is no such thing for me.

Story that shifted my own perceptions of the characters
Bold (Sanctuary - Helen/Tesla) perhaps.

Hardest Story to Write
Curiosity (The Closer - Fritz/Gavin) cause I'm bad at m/m

Biggest Disappointment
Needing (Castle/Beckett) just cause I didn't really like it and I'd already written both Castle and Becketts view on the Season 3 finale, I didn't need to rehash it all again for smut.

Biggest Surprise
All of the The Closer fic, lol, just cause I didn't expect to be writing any and wouldn't if it weren't for [livejournal.com profile] only_takes_one. I am surpised at how well The Lies You Tell (The Closer - Brenda/Sharon) came out cause I was given some very prescise instructions for it and struggled to write it a little at first.

Most Unintentionally Telling Story
Immortailty (Sanctuary - Helen/Will) I'm a sap.

Looking back, did you write more fic than you thought you would this year, less, or about what you'd predicted?
Less actually, cause I figured with more time on my hands I would write more, but it didn't work out that way.

What pairing/genre/fandom did you write that you would never have predicted in January 2010?
Rizzoli & Isles, and Helen/Tesla. I didn't think I'd write a SG-1/Sanctuary crossover fic.

What's your favourite story of the year? Not the most popular, but the one that makes you happiest?
Acquiescence Around Me - Sam/Hathor

Did you take any writing risks this year? (See above for unexpected pairings, etc.) What did you learn from them?

Not really, whatever comes my way.

Do you have any fanfic or profic goals for the New Year?

Not really, more fic this year me thinks. And Will/Tesla. And Ashley/Tesla.

My Best Story of the Year
Not sure.

Story Most Under appreciated by the Universe in My Opinion

Good day - Sam/Aiden Ford and Confusion - Jack/Weir

Most Fun Story
Minor Haematoma - Jane/Maura

Most Sexy Story
Pink - Jane/Maura

"Holy crap, that's wrong, even for you" story
No wrong!fic this year! Outrageous. I'll have to sort that out with some Ashley/Druitt incest!fic immediately.

Story that shifted my own perceptions of the characters
Acquiescence Around Me - Sam/Hathor - probably cause I really had to work on that and think about how Sam would react in that situation.

Hardest Story to Write
Acquiescence Around Me - Sam/Hathor

Biggest Disappointment
Zepherus - Tony/Pepper - Didn't come out as I wanted or thought it would.

Biggest Surprise
Final Thoughts - Ashley!ficlet - randomly came out of no where after watching End Of Nights again and again.

Most Unintentionally Telling Story
Tremor - Sam/Daniel - makes me realise how hard I find it to write Sam/Daniel as anything other than friends sometimes unless I'm writing straight smut!
